Jag anser inte att Jantelagen är något positivt. Men om ingen sticker ut uppstår inte så många konflikter. Svenskar är inte konfliktbenägna. Hamnar vi i konflikt är vi inte aggressiva, vi diskuterar fram en lösning så att alla blir nöjda. Det anser jag vara typiskt svenskt, och något väldigt positivt som ändå kan kopplas till Jantelagen. Om "konflikträdd" är motsatsen till hetsig och överaggressiv är jag hellre konflikträdd, men jag föredrar att kalla det "ej konfliktbenägen". En artikel med rubriken "Svenskar bäst på att undvika konflikter" skulle dock inte gå hem, då den helt står i strid med Jantelagen.
Är det det faktum att vi, till viss del, omedvetet tillämpar Jantelagen som lett till att vi är så otroligt självkritiska? Det har ju gått så långt att våra journalister och politiska företrädare på fullaste allvar påstår att något svenskt inte existerar. Och om det ändå gör det är det i så fall töntiga saker. I Dagens Arbete skriver den annars kloke författaren Björn Ranelid en artikel på temat att allt svenskt är importerat. Varför? Det kanske är dags för en lagändring?
En blogg om svenskhet och vad som är typiskt svenskt. För det finns väl en svenskt kultur? Eller är det som våra politiker säger, att något svenskt överhuvudtagt inte existerar?
